What DataFlow Primary Source Verification Really Means
DataFlow verification, also called Primary Source Verification (PSV), is an independent background check on your professional credentials. The DataFlow Group is a private verification company contracted by GCC regulators — it is not a government department. Instead of trusting the copies you upload, DataFlow contacts each issuing source directly: your university, your licensing council, and every hospital or clinic you have worked for. Each contacts confirm your degree, registration and experience are genuine and unaltered. A positive report is the mandatory gate before any Gulf authority will let you sit a Prometric exam or grant eligibility. Get it right and your licensing journey flows; get it wrong and everything downstream stalls.
Verifies education, licensure and work experience at the original source
Required by DHA, DOH, MOHAP, SCFHS, DHP (formerly QCHP), NHRA and OMSB
Completed online through the DataFlow gateway — no in-person visit needed
A red or unverified result blocks your exam and eligibility
02
Documents That May Be Required — and Why Attestation Matters
Requirements vary by regulator, profession and application type, so treat the list below as examples rather than a universal checklist. Most delays start with paperwork, not the check itself. Every scan must be clear, complete and consistent across documents, and anything not in English or Arabic needs a certified translation. Some regulators also require attestation by your country's foreign ministry (MOFA) or the UAE embassy before a document is accepted. We audit each file against your target authority's exact rules first, so nothing bounces back weeks later.
A valid passport and a passport-size photo
Degree or diploma, and academic transcripts where asked for
Professional licence or registration certificate from your home council
A Good Standing Certificate — validity requirements vary by issuing body and licensing authority
Experience letters showing designation, dates and employer contact details
Certified translations and MOFA/embassy attestation where required
03
Why DataFlow Applications Get Rejected
Rejections and long delays are rarely random — they follow a predictable pattern, and almost all are preventable. The most damaging cause is an issuing source that simply never replies to DataFlow, which is why we identify slow institutions early and add backup contacts. The rest come down to inconsistent details and incomplete evidence. Before we submit, we cross-check every date, name and signature so your report closes positively the first time rather than looping back to you.
Unreachable or unresponsive universities and former employers
Name spelling that differs between passport, degree and licence
An expired Good Standing Certificate or missing council stamp
Blurred, cropped or partially scanned pages
Experience letters missing dates, role or verifiable contact details
Applying under the wrong professional category or title
04
If Your Report Is Delayed or Comes Back Unverified
An amber, delayed or "unable to verify" result is not a dead end — it is a recovery task, and this is where hands-on management pays off. DataFlow keeps chasing the source, but you can move things faster by supplying alternative contacts, a re-issued certificate, or an authenticated copy. We escalate stalled cases, request re-verification, and liaise with your institution's records office directly. Where a source genuinely no longer exists or cannot confirm, we help you substitute acceptable evidence so the report can still close green.

Understanding DataFlow Fees
DataFlow sets its own verification fee and you pay it directly on its gateway, separate from any consultancy charge. There is no universal GCC amount: what you pay depends on the regulator you are applying through and the verification package that comes with it. Official package pricing is published for some authorities and is currently available in our calculator for DHP Qatar and SCFHS Saudi Arabia, so a figure quoted for one authority should not be assumed to hold for another. OnClick's handling fee is quoted separately and upfront on our pricing page. If you want to size the DataFlow portion before you commit, estimate your DataFlow fee with our planning calculator, then confirm the exact amount in the DataFlow application itself.

Express Verification and Reusing One Report Across the Gulf
If you are working to a start date, speed matters. Faster handling may be available where DataFlow offers it, and we advise whether paying for it is genuinely worth it in your case. Processing time otherwise varies by authority, verification scope and how quickly issuing institutions respond. On reuse: an existing report may be relevant to a later application, but the receiving authority decides whether it can be accepted and what still has to be verified. We manage that process end to end rather than leaving you to guess at it.

How It Works
A clear, managed path from first enquiry to an active licence.
1
Free eligibility and document pre-check
We review your qualifications, target authority and every scan against 2026 requirements — catching mismatches, expired certificates and gaps before anything is submitted.
2
DataFlow account and profile setup
We create and configure your profile on the DataFlow gateway, selecting the correct authority, profession and document set so the case is built right from day one.
3
Document preparation, attestation and translation
We guide certified translation and MOFA or embassy attestation where needed, and ensure Good Standing Certificates and experience letters meet each regulator's format.
4
Submission and secure payment
Your complete application is submitted and the DataFlow fee is paid directly on the official gateway, with a full breakdown so you know exactly what each charge covers.
5
Primary source verification with issuing bodies
DataFlow contacts your universities, councils and employers. We monitor progress, escalate slow sources and keep you updated instead of leaving you guessing.
6
Report finalisation and authority upload
Once every source confirms, your positive report is generated and delivered to your chosen authority — clearing the way for eligibility and your Prometric exam.

DataFlow Primary Source Verification is an independent background check that confirms your qualifications, licence and work experience directly with the institutions that issued them. GCC regulators such as DHA, SCFHS and Qatar's DHP contract the DataFlow Group to run this check before you can sit a licensing exam or receive eligibility. A positive report proves your credentials are genuine and unaltered.
There is no single answer. Processing time varies by authority, verification scope and how quickly issuing institutions respond, and the last of those is outside anyone's control once the request is sent. Faster handling may be available where DataFlow offers it. Check the current guidance for your own authority rather than planning against a general figure.
There is no single universal amount, which is why this page does not quote one. DataFlow sets the fee, and what applies to you depends on the regulator you apply through and the verification package that comes with it. The final amount is confirmed inside the DataFlow application. For a planning figure before you get that far, use our DataFlow cost calculator, then treat DataFlow's own quote as the one that counts.
The single biggest cause is an unreachable issuing source — a university or employer that never replies to DataFlow's request. Close behind are name mismatches across documents, an expired Good Standing Certificate, illegible scans, and experience letters that omit dates, designation or contact details. Careful pre-submission auditing prevents nearly all of these before they cost you weeks.
A delayed or "unable to verify" result is not the end of your application. DataFlow keeps following up with the source, and you can supply alternative contacts, a re-issued certificate, or an authenticated document to move it forward. We escalate stalled cases, request re-verification, and, where a source genuinely cannot confirm, help you substitute acceptable evidence so the report can close positively.
Sometimes. An existing DataFlow report may be relevant to a later application, but the receiving authority determines whether it can be accepted, what has to be reissued, and whether additional verification is needed. Any transfer or reissue is handled through the DataFlow process and may involve additional charges. Some authorities also ask for an updated Good Standing Certificate or fresh experience letters at that point.
The verified facts in a report — your degree, past experience and previous licences — do not change, so the report itself has lasting value. What can expire are the supporting documents around it: regulators may ask for a recent Good Standing Certificate and up-to-date experience letters at the point of licensing. Validity requirements vary by issuing body and licensing authority, so check the ones that apply to your route.
No. DataFlow verification is completed entirely online, so you can begin from your home country long before you relocate. You upload scanned documents to the gateway, DataFlow contacts your issuing institutions, and the report is delivered digitally to your chosen authority. Starting early — while still overseas — is the best way to shorten your overall licensing timeline.
